Abstract

This study aimed to compare three types of propolis—natural, local, and commercial—in terms of ash content, polyphenols, flavonoids, pH, and moisture. The results demonstrated the superiority of local propolis, which exhibited higher levels of both polyphenols and flavonoids. In contrast, no significant differences were observed in ash content, moisture, or pH among the samples. These findings highlight the importance of local propolis as a rich source of bioactive compounds with potential health benefits.
