Roles and Responsibilities of Reviewers in Maintaining Publishing Standards

  • Commitment to completing the review and review process within the specified timeframe.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of the information provided for review and review and not disclosing its content to anyone outside the journal's editorial process.
  • Ensure that the research paper to be published meets the journal's requirements in terms of originality, freedom from errors, the methods and techniques used, scientific significance, and scientific style.
  • Ensure that the research paper is free of plagiarism.
  • Prepare a report on the quality and originality of the research paper.
  • In the event of errors or plagiarism, the reviewer must prepare a report that includes a reference to the paragraphs plagiarized by the researcher and must attach the original source from which the plagiarism was committed.
  • Reviewers must strive for objectivity in their judgments related to the review process. o If the reviewer feels unable or unqualified to carry out the review process, they must immediately notify the Editor-in-Chief.
