Scientific Research Ethics
Scientific Research Ethics
Based on the University of Misrata's Scientific Research Charter and the mission of the scientific journals published by the University of Misrata to publish scientific and literary research in order to advance scientific research and the values and ethics it entails, this charter was established to serve as a reference and foundation for all those involved in publishing and authoring scientific and literary research. This document serves as a code of honor for all those involved in scientific research without exception. Therefore, all concerned parties, once they engage in the publishing process in journals published by the University of Misrata, are subject to this code of honor. Therefore, all stakeholders, once engaged in the publishing process in journals published by Misrata University, implicitly agree to the following values:
- Respect the laws and regulations governing the publishing process in every scientific journal published by Misrata University.
- Research is evaluated without regard to the nationality, ethnic origin, political philosophy, or citizenship of the authors (researchers).
- Respect established procedures from the time the research is submitted for publication until the acceptance or rejection is received. Ensure credibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
Based on the aforementioned values, those involved in the scientific research process are committed to the following:
- Adhere to the rules of integrity and objectivity in scientific journals specializing in publishing the humanities and applied sciences.
- The university's scientific journals are committed to announcing the rules and requirements for publishing on the journal's website.
- Researchers are committed to the published publication requirements and rules.
- Publishing is for the purpose of development and benefiting humanity, not for personal gain. Researchers are committed to respecting the intellectual property of others and to accuracy in quoting and citing.
- Researchers bear scientific responsibility for the results published in their research.
- Researchers must mention all those who contributed to the success of the research, not those listed on the author list, in the acknowledgments section of the research.
